Manufacturer warranty service
Equipment failed under warranty? We run the claim so you don't have to.
A warranty only pays out if the claim is documented the way the manufacturer demands — diagnostic logs, test readings, photos, and serials, filed on time and tracked to delivery. OnForce Solar handles the whole process for commercial systems: we confirm what is still covered, prove the failure, file with the manufacturer, receive and store the replacement, and install and commission it.
Commercial systems in New York, New Jersey & Connecticut. Servicing solar since 2008.
Signs you need a warranty claim
- An inverter has tripped offline or is showing a fault code
- String or module production is down and the cause looks like failed equipment
- Optimizers or micro-inverters are reporting offline
- Monitoring hardware or a communication gateway has died
- A module is discolored, cracked, or failing an insulation test
- Your original installer is gone and nobody will file the claim
What the service covers
We check every inverter, module, optimizer, and monitoring device on your system against manufacturer records and tell you exactly what is still covered and when each term ends.
We pull diagnostic logs, capture serials, and record the test readings the manufacturer requires — the step most failed claims are missing.
We file with the manufacturer, answer their follow-up requests, and track the replacement unit through to delivery so you aren't chasing anyone.
We receive and store the replacement, install it, commission the system, and confirm production is back to expectation.
Under a maintenance contract we keep the warranty record live for the portfolio, so covered failures cost a service visit, not a replacement.
How a warranty claim works with us
- 1Call with the site address and the equipment that failed — we confirm the manufacturer and whether the term is still open.
- 2We visit, diagnose, and document the fault to the manufacturer's evidentiary standard: logs, serials, photos, and test results.
- 3We file the claim and handle the manufacturer's requests until the replacement is approved and shipped.
- 4We receive and store the replacement unit, then schedule the installation window around your site.
- 5We install, commission, and verify production — you receive the claim file and warranty paperwork for your records.
Common questions
Which manufacturers do you file claims with?
All major inverter manufacturers — including SolarEdge, Enphase, SMA, Huawei, Fronius, Solectria, ABB, Schneider Electric, and GE Proven — plus module, optimizer, and monitoring-equipment makers.
Do you handle claims if we didn't install the system?
Yes. Most of our warranty work is on systems installed by others, including installers that are no longer in business and will not file on your behalf.
What if the warranty has expired?
We tell you before you spend money on a claim. If the term has closed, we quote the repair or replacement directly and explain the payback against the alternatives.
Does filing a claim void anything?
No. We follow the manufacturer's documented procedure and keep every serial and reading on file, so the claim is recorded the way the manufacturer requires and nothing else on the system is put at risk.
